Fresh in Floral
Summer fashion is all about bright colors and patterns. From bright red to statement stripes, it's a fun time to experiment with your personal style. In today's post, I had the pleasure of shooting this look featuring Pink Blush. If you've been keeping up with my posts, I've previously worked with this brand before and I'm happy to say, I'm a Pink Blush Style Ambassador. This online boutique curates to women who are entering the world of motherhood or are mothers, but they also have tons of pieces for stylish women who want to discover unique pieces, such as this floral maxi skirt.
It's no surprise that floral print is everywhere! It's a great way to celebrate joy and romance. From tops to shoes, it's not only eye-catching, but an aesthetically pleasing pattern for any season. This piece has a sweet silhouette with its lined skirt and long, sheer fabric, which is a plus in my book! Also, this full length style has an elastic waist, so you're welcome to position the skirt on your waist or hips. There's also two decorative slits on the side of skirt to show off a little leg!
This outfit is appropriate for any family/friends occasion. Since the sheer floral maxi skirt is light and flowy, I wanted to style it with a fitting off-the-shoulder top from Urban Outfitters. To finish off the look, I wanted to feel comfortable, so I wore cutout beige booties from Go Jane. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the exact link, but I did find similar ones here. I threw my hair up in a high ponytail because in all honesty, it was super hot that day, but it pulled the look together well. As for my makeup, I used my trusty Morphe 35O palette. It's a beautiful palette with a variety of shades from cooler grey-tones to fiery sunset colors.
What is your favorite print to rock this season? I'd love to know!
