Tommy Girl

I'm a sucker for vintage clothing pieces from brands like Guess, Calvin Klein, Fila, Champion, Tommy Hilfiger, etc. I'm always on the look out for these brands when I'm thrifting because it's a timeless piece and if I wanted to, I could rework it.

Now let's get down to business. I know most, if not, all of you are wondering where I got this Tommy bandeau top from. Fortunately, it's not from a thrift store, so you are able to purchase it. Unfortunately, it's a dupe, but you cannot tell the difference! I've seen this particular one (pictured below) everywhere and been wanting to get my hands on it ever since.

Not throwing any shade here, but have you ever come across some people who don't respond when you ask them where they got something from? It baffles me. But don't you worry because I got you! When you search on Google for this bandeau top, there isn't a specific site. Plus, the Tommy Hilfiger website doesn't carry this particular bandeau anymore. Trust me, when I first laid eyes on this bandeau, I've searched near and far on the Internet. I'm also a skeptic when it comes to dupes, but this bandeau is no where to be found until I stumbled upon this website. They look extremely identical! Sure the material isn't as pristine, but it's inexpensive and looks exactly like the original.

There's so many ways to style this Tommy-inspired bandeau top, but I knew for sure I wanted to style this piece for a night out. I wanted to highlight the top, so I went for the classic denim on denim look and ankle strap sandals. I added the black and silver belt just to incorporate some kind of accessory. Feeling very chicy-deeky as Desi Perkins would say. That cold shoulder look or draping your outerwear has been the thing to do lately, so why not? It adds some character to a look.

As for the outfit details, my denim jacket was thrifted, my bottoms are from Charlotte Russe, and I actually forgot where I bought my sandals, but you can find similar ones on Public Desire or Go Jane. Now what you all have been waiting for, here is the direct link to this Tommy-inspired bandeau top from a website called, FairySeason. I chose a size small and guess what? It's only about $10! I couldn't believe it myself. I highly recommend wearing a sticky bra with it and if you're planning on getting a little frisky, be extra cautious because it will slip off... not from personal experience or anything. By the way, they have other Tommy tops and bikini's, which I may purchase very soon!

Before I sign out, I just want to say that sharing is caring! If I find a good deal or someone is wondering where I got something from, I'm going to let them know because we're all trying to look cute and prosper in this cruel world! I'm all about girls empowering girls. In other words, don't be a greedy, entitled b. tysm.

Send positive vibes
