Overall This
While California's weather is still acting a bit confused, sunny and bright on some days, cold and gloomy on others or even both, it's safe to say I'm overall this funky weather! One thing I know for sure is that I've been noticing a ton of people and celebrities rock the denim overalls lately. It's making a comeback! This silhouette makes it perfect for on-the-go. You can definitely rock a pair casually or dress it up. For this look, I've decided to go with something a little dressy, hence the pointed toe booties and the brim hat (also, my hair was not having it that day, so throwing on this hat was much needed).
I went for black and white, since it's a classic. I've always wanted a pair of black denim overalls, so when I found these on shein.com, I had to order it! The distressed detail is perfectly placed (I'm sure we've all seen some odd placements) and fortunately, I chose the right size. I ordered a small! The quality is spot on too. When ordering from Shein, always check the measurements beforehand and read the reviews. Anyway, I paired it with a Forever 21 striped mock neck top and finished the outfit with my trusted Aldo pointed toe booties and brim hat from Forever 21.
Overalls are typically known for farmers, painters, and babies. But hey, there's no farmer/painter/baby vibes over here! I know overalls can be a hit or miss, but I believe you can style any piece in your favor. I love that overalls are the perfect hybrid of comfy jeans and a casual jumpsuit! You can basically pair overalls with anything such as a hoodie, sweater, crop top, or even a bralette.
Here are some other options I've found:
Charlotte Russe: Refuge Zip-Front Denim Overalls
Forever 21: Skinny Denim Overalls
Brandy Melville: Jade Overalls
ASOS: 90s Style Overalls
