Just for Kicks

It's no surprise that sneakers are a must. You're able to be quick on your feet unless your shoe laces are untied. It's practical. It matches with pretty much everything. I've been noticing many people are into sneakers on my Instagram feed and explore page. We've got the mom jeans/distressed jeans. We've got the trousers/sweatpants/joggers. We also have the midi dresses. I love to wear sneakers, since I'm on the go alot. I've noticed many popular shoe brands design shoes that are not only light on your feet, but stylish. For instance, there's Nike, Puma, Adidas, Vans, etc. The Adidas superstars were quite the trend! I'm all for those, but they can be really expensive. Sometimes, I find a really cute pair of shoes and have to question myself because it's not name brand. Does anyone else feel the same? Maybe it's just me, but I've been learning to step out of my bubble and explore other brands.

There's actually a pair of Puma shoes that I've been eyeing. I was debating whether or not to purchase the sneakers until I came across these on Qupid.com. I wanted to add a pop of color to my shoe collection. Both pairs look similar in color and material, but one is about $55 and the other is $30. Not much of a price difference, but I decided to go with the Qupid shoes because I like the design and mauve color. It's all about preference.

This outfit are for those windy, rainy days. Those days where you don't feel too good and just want to be comfy and warm. Those days where you have to go outside in the pouring rain to run errands. Those days where you have get up, go to class, don't care how you look like, but want to look presentable (me).

Personally for me, I'd rather dress down than up. Even though dressing up is fun and all, I don't think I'd be able to do it everyday unless I have a job that requires it. I live in sneakers. It's versatile and whatever my outfit is, I know I count on sneakers to support me throughout the day. 

Time for the outfit details! I got the black bomber jacket at us.boohoo.com, black joggers from Rue21.com, and the beanie and t-shirt from Forever21.com. Isn't the tee so cute?! Growing up, I loved watching Saved By the Bell, so when I saw Kelly Kapowski on this shirt, I knew I had to have it. Her fashion sense was so on point! As for the Qupid shoes, they're called "Piction-01 Mauve Monochromatic Suede Sneakers". They're lightweight and durable. Of course like any shoe, you'll have to wear it a few times, so your feet can break them in. I don't have any shoes that look like this in my collection, so it's great to chuck these on whenever I want that pop of color.
