What to Wear for the Fall?

Fall season is upon us and just because it's gloomy and chilly, doesn't mean we have to dress bummy everyday (unless you want to). It is possible to still dress comfortably and be in style! It's that time to grab a latte or hot cocoa, layer your tops and bottoms, and play with the leaves, which is a perfect idea for a photoshoot *wink wink.

This dressy, yet casual look is great for going on a date or taking a stroll in downtown with a couple of friends. Heck, you can wear this outfit for any occasion, really. Brown-y, olive, burgundy shades are all the rage this season, so I went for a neutral look with the beige turtleneck from Cotton On, floppy hat from Forever 21, and beige booties from Charlotte RusseThe piece that is a real eye-catcher has to be the black longline vest. Although if I did have a faux fur vest in my closet, which I do want to incorporate into my closet this season, I would have worn it. You can always switch out pieces here and there. I'm just here trying to inspire you all!

Have you ever worn an outfit that makes you feel like you can conquer anything? This is the kind of outfit that makes me feel some type of way. The reason may be because of the floppy hat because it blocks me from all the haters (totally joking) or the vest that gives a nice long silhouette. I love wearing denim jeans, especially distressed high waisted ones because it goes with anything and everything. Also, I've always wanted a pair of beige booties and I'm so glad I scored these babies from Charlotte Russe! They have a huge selection on boots, so check out their site if you're wanting a pair.

This photoshoot was super fun because I had a play fight in the leaves and being at the park while the weather was not too sunny or too cold was calming. I prefer shooting with backdrops of buildings and such, but I wanted to make this an exception because it's Fall. The leaves were falling and it looks beautiful with the variety of vibrant colors of orange, red, and yellow tones! I typically don't gravitate towards this style. I prefer streetwear or grunge for the colder months, but I am living for this look!

Stay warm folks ❤
