DIY Facial Scrubs ft. Vanity Planet's Spin for Perfect Skin

Long time, no talk right? I've been more focused on my personal life and as for social media - Instagram and my Youtube channel. I feel like I get more feedback from those sites rather than my blog, but nonetheless, doesn't mean I will completely ignore the fact that I have my blog.

As you can see, I have uploaded a Youtube video about how you can make your own organic facial scrubs at the comfort of your home and sharing my current skincare routine, but I want to add a little bit more information regarding this face and body brush from Vanity Planet. I had the great opportunity to work with Vanity Planet (http://www.vanityplanet.com) They sent me this product to review and share with you all. I am NOT sponsored like I said. I have always wanted a device where I feel like my facial wash or cleanser is working 10x's better than me using my hands. I heard nothing but great reviews on this product and I absolutely love it! Though the bristles, may be somewhat tough on the skin, I don't mind it. It's not irritating for my skin although I do believe I have "sensitive" skin.

It claims that "The gently spinning movement of the brush head thoroughly cleanses, exfoliates, and lifts dirt and oil trapped deep in your pores. The result is radiant skin that will have you beaming." and that is true. After using this product for a week, I have seen a great difference with my skin. Not only did this product motivate me to wash my face because I admit, sometimes I do get lazy or I fall asleep with makeup on (oops), I have the product right next to my toothbrush to remind me. I love that you're able to change the brushes as well. There's 4 parts that you may use for the face AND body.

I am so grateful to let you all know that Vanity Planet has given me a discount code if you want to try out the Body and Face brush as well: Use "lovetuyen" for 70% off the Spin for Perfect Skin and 70% off all other Vanity Planet Face and Body brushes at checkout! *

I believe taking care of your skin is the most important factor of your life, next to being healthy and being happy. Your skin is your physical appearance, you can't really change it unless you get surgery, but that's besides the point. Applying makeup should be the least of your worries, although that's what every girl talks about nowadays. I mean, of course if you look good, you feel good, but don't forget that under all that makeup, you are you. Here's a couple tips that was useful to me:

  • Start simple. Before spending a lot on skin care products, evaluate your current skin care routine. Do you properly cleanse your skin and wear sunscreen every day? Even though you won't see immediate results, those little steps make a big difference over time.
  • Start early. If you're a teenager or if you have a teenager at home, start now to develop healthy habits. If you're older, you can still nourish, pamper, and protect your skin for the future.

(Thanks to http://www.webmd.com/beauty/skin/skin-care for the tips!)

If you haven't checked out my video, here it is! Thank you so much to Vanity Planet for helping me realize even more that pampering yourself is a definite MUST!
