So Long, Boring Hair ft. FlatIronExperts

Hi there, I hope you are all doing well! I just want to thank you for taking time out of your day to read my blog posts. I really appreciate it! Well, I'm back with a review about these hair tools from Flat Iron Experts (*NOT sponsored) They were kind enough to send me these to review. I have the QT Performance Tourmaline Ceramic Clipless Curling Iron/Styling Wand (1-1/2") and the QT Performance Wet to Dry Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron/Hair Straightener (1-3/8")

Let's just ignore the fact that I need to go redye my hair and how dead it is and I apologize for the odd lighting that's happening, but as for the hair styling tool, I like it overall! There is actually a method on how to achieve this look. Remember to wear the glove they provide! It gets super hot and you don't want to burn yourself, although I did a couple times. I grab an inch or two or hair and wrap it around my hair. Leave it on there for a couple minutes and after that, I don't immediately unwrap it. Instead, I slowly release the tool and as for the curly strand, I scrunch it in my hand, so it can have the wavy/beachy look. I feel like doing that makes the curl last as well. At first, when I tried this product, I didn't like it. It didn't work like how I thought it would work. But as I started playing with it more, you notice this hair styling tool can actually do all kinds of curls, which I really love. It gives great volume and the curls last! They provide a pamphlet where you're welcome to create a variety of hairstyles and a wide range of temperatures for a kinds of hair, which is very helpful (same goes for the hair straightener!)

(The "before" shot is the same as the curling one because I couldn't get a shot of my "before" hair, but this is what it looks like after I take it out when it's in a loose braid in the morning.) To be quite honest with you, I am so ashamed with the before picture. Look at how my hair looks so healthy and smooth in my after picture because of the hair straightener. I never use to straighten my hair because my hair is initially straight, so I would just use a comb, but oh my. I will be using the hair straightener whenever I head out now! Remember to always use a heat protectant before applying any kind of heat to your hair.
