Current Skincare Routine

I've been meaning to share with you all my favorite skincare products/skincare routine and today's the day! I'm not saying these products work for everyone, but it did work for my skin, especially when I had some breakouts here and there. I would say I have normal to dry and sensitive skin.

Your local drugstore (Walgreens, CVS, etc.)

The Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer is my go-to moisturizer for my face! My dry areas are around my nose or forehead and this moisturizes my face. It doesn't have an unusual scent and doesn't make my face oily afterwards. It does exactly what it says!

I like the St. Ives brand, especially their Green Tea Scrub. It's not too harsh on the face and leaves my skin feeling smooth and cleansed. After using it for a few weeks, I did see results. The redness on my face was not so noticeable and my breakouts did minimize. The smell is pleasant too. I switch this and my Oil-Free Acne Wash Scrub from time to time, so my skin doesn't get use to it.

I've always been a fan of Neutrogena's skincare products, since they claim to fight acne aka directly for teenagers. I've sort of recently started using The Acne Stress Control Triple Action Toner (wow, that's long name). I use round cotton pads to pat the toner onto my face before I sleep and I feel like it refreshes my face and definitely eliminates oil and shine. It's not a bad smell. But I generally use this whenever I feel a pimple forming which is the worst! As for The Oil-Free Acne Wash Daily Scrub, it's not so harsh on the skin, but you can definitely feel the texture if that makes sense. It smells nice and I use it daily whenever I'm having breakouts.

I love the Simple brand for my makeup! To all the girls who need a good makeup remover, Simple has you covered! I'm so glad I found out about their Cleansing Micellar Water. It really does the job removing makeup and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated afterwards. I've been using the Cleansing Facial Wipes for months now, but when I found out about the micellar water, I've never looked back. Although, it removes most of the eye makeup, I want to go their eye makeup remover as well because I've had a sample bottle and it's great too! I like how the Simple brand is great for sensitive skin and the smell is not harsh or bad at all! I highly recommend the micellar water, so you don't have to keep on buying makeup remover wipes. It saves alot of time and energy!

LUSH cosmetics is a wonderful skincare brand. I've already talked about these babies on my "LUSH haul (Review)": http://typicaltuyen.blogspot.com/2015/02/lush-haul-review.html

If you're looking for an inexpensive face mask brand, Freeman Feeling Beautiful is here for you! I actually want all of their face masks. For now, I have the Avocado & Oatmeal Clay Mask and the Mint & Lemon Clay Mask. Both are very relaxing and leaves my skin feeling smooth and cleansed. I use these products about two times a week. You leave the face mask for 5-10 mins or whenever it hardens and rinse with warm water and that's it. I love the smells for each other them and I plan on getting more of these masks. Inexpensive and does the job!

I hope after reading this, you'll take into consideration purchasing of these products because they've helped my skin immensely! I'm all about skincare and feel like it's the most important routine out of your makeup routine, daily routine, etc. You don't necessarily have to go out and buy "high end" skincare products, but if you're on a budget like me, definitely check these products out! I'm not saying these products will drastically help your skin out and clear all your pimples and acne scars, but it gradually helped me on my skin, so I highly recommend them. Hope this helped!
Until I blog again... see ya!
