Colourpop Lippies (Review)
(Excuse the little stains on the lippie pencils.. ha)
I've been so obsessed with these matte lipsticks (they call it "lippies") from @Colourpopcosmetics / www.colourpop.com ❤❤❤ I will definitely be purchasing some other lippies from them very soon! Until then, let's talk about these babies. I found these out through Instagram. I was scrolling along the "People" page and thought the shades were beautiful and very affordable! Only $5 each! Then I went on Youtube and found out about "KathleenLights" and watched her review on Colourpop cosmetics and gave in.
This particular shade "Lumiere" (https://colourpop.com/product/lumiere/) was actually created by the "KathleenLights" on Youtube. When she wore it on her lips, it looked so pretty, so I had to get it. It's a dusty mauve pink in a matte finish. I bought the lip pencil as well, but you can definitely wear the lippie alone. Love how it's true to color. I basically wear this everyday unless I want a dark, vampy, bold color which I will talk about soon!
Here's what the lippie + lippie pencil looks like on my lips:
Here comes "Bichette" (https://colourpop.com/product/bichette-2/) - a deep red wine in a matte finish. *Tip: Always remember to exfoliate your lips before you apply a matte lipstick because it is drying. I've noticed that with these lippies, they're very creamy and easy to apply, which is a big thumbs up!

And here's to one of my most favorite dark, vampy colors "Creature" (https://colourpop.com/product/creature/) - a deepened blackened burgundy red in a matte finish. After buying this, I realized that it was created by a beautiful fashion/beauty blogger @Feralcreature! I feel like I can take on the world whenever I wear this lip color. It can be drying, so I would have to reapply it every couple hours, but other than that, I am in love with this color!

I also love how the lip pencils appear to be just a stick and it's not retractable, but you can actually sharpen your pencil. I had a hard time figuring out when the lip pencils went dull.
The packaging is very simple, but the formula of these babies are amazing! I am definitely going to try to get all the matte shades and then try some satin/glossy ones. I've also heard many great reviews on Colourpop's eyeshadows, but for me, I have yet to add eyeshadow to my daily make-up routine. When I do, I'll purchase those bad boys too! For only $5 each, you can't go wrong with them. I highly recommend these, so go get yourself some lippies! (By the way, I'm not sponsored by them. I was gifted these lippies and forever in love with them)
