After Christmas Thrift Haul
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your love ones and have a Happy New Year! I apologize for not doing much DIY's and such lately. I usually always update on my Instagram: @typicaltuyen instead if you're interested about about my ootd's! In the meantime, I'm here with another thrift haul (ft. my dino socks)☺
Tell me why I woke up at 7am in the morning with so much energy? I went to sleep around 2-3am the night before too. Anyways, I went thrifting with my partner in thrift (instead of crime heh), my sister! The After Christmas sale was 50% off everything, so we had to take advantage of it. By the time we came there, there were alot of people. We couldn't get a cart or anything, so we had to carry our stuff around. We started with the knit sweaters/cardigans section first, since the weater is freezing here and luckily found some things and then switched to the jackets/coats section and grabbed a few things there.
I felt like it was sort of like a competition at the place because everyone was squirming around, frantically trying to find things. But my sister and I got in there, found things we loved, went in the fitting room to try it all on, bought it, and then went out! It was only took us about 30-40mins this time, which was great, since we usually take about an hr or two.
Onto the goodies I've found, I got a Mickey Mouse beige windbreaker (so comfy!), a teal knit cardigan, a marley knit cardgian, a black windbreaker, an oversized sweater, a printed top, and a long dark grey cardgian! I can't wait to style these soon, but first, I'm going put these in the washing machine - very important! Here's the receipt, which I only spent about $23! Yay for thrifting!
So as of right now, my closet can't contain so much of my clothes, so I'll be putting my gently used clothes on my Vinted: tuyenstreasure if you all are interested! Vinted is an app where you can buy, sell, and swap clothes. Download it! It's definitely a great app to connect with others who sell and buy clothes. Well, I'll be organizing and doing laundry now.
