A New Beginning

Hello People of the Internet!

This is my first ever post! Some of you may have noticed, others this may come as a "surprise" to you, but I have an undeniable love for fashion. Yes, I may not be "original" and yes, I know many, many other girls in the world love clothes as well, but hey, I love clothes too, so we can all love clothes together! I'm not a girl who is pursuing a career in fashion. I'm not saying I want to become a model. I'm simply starting this blog to share with all of you my everyday outfits and such whether its casual, comfy, edgy, and out of my comfort zone. I'd also love to see other people style themselves too. Not only do I want to find some inspiration, but inspire others as well.
You all may be wondering, "Why start it now?" or "What made you become really interested in fashion?" Well, here's your answer: "Dress for no one else, but yourself." I'm not going to talk about my childhood story saying I LOVE FASHION WHEN I WAS LITTLE. I actually didn't. I didn't care what I wore or what my mom made me dress as because she was the one that bought the clothes for me. But when I was heading off to college, I began to get out of my comfort zone and realize there are tons and tons of stores for girls, some I didn't even knew existed because they're just online from where I reside or just online boutiques - Forever 21, Urban Outfitters, DailyLook, Brandy Melville, OOTDFash, SheInside, etc. That's when I finally got a debit card, which means ONLINE SHOPPING! But anyways, I was intrigued with all the different styles of clothes and accessories and shoes, which brought me out of my comfort zone. I started wearing high waisted shorts and pants, cardigans, overalls, boots, choker necklaces, knee and over-the-knee socks, etc. I admit, I was one to be afraid of judgment from others, so I didn't buy stuff that I actually liked, but bought the stuff I knew people would like. I actually never worn make-up until my Senior Year of high school or was it after I graduated, which made me feel pretty! (Not that I had low-self esteem. I just never knew how to apply it or thought I didn't need it, but it doesn't hurt to try new things!)
But now, here I am, writing this to you and being very comfortable with sharing this part of me with the people of the Internet. I hope you all will continue to keep up with my blog as well as I do because I am so excited for the upcoming season - FALL! As I'm online shopping at the moment, I can picture so many outfits in my mind! Keep in mind, I do buy all my clothes, accessories, and shoes with my own money, unless stated otherwise so if you do see some repeats, "Ya girl ain't rich!" Well here's to a new beginning!

  1. Looking forward to your new posts! I've actually heard of sheinside before but haven't shopped from them yet cause of some really bad reviews I've read in the past :o I'm scared to try but if you've had a good experience shopping from them, maybe I should ;D
